UC Davis: Announced it will not renew the contract of head women's volleyball coach Stephanie Hawbecker. She recorded a 63-112 record in six seasons. (posted 12/6/2005)

Pacific: Announced it has offered head women's volleyball coach Jayne McHugh a reassignment within the athletic department and will begin a national search for her replacement as head coach. McHugh recorded a 100-59 record in five seasons as head coach at Pacific. (posted 11/30/2005)

Stanford: Announced the retirement of head men's volleyball coach Don Shaw, effective at the conclusion of the 2006 men's season. He will complete his seventh season leading the Cardinal men starting January. He also was Stanford's women's head coach from 1984 to 1999. Wayne Kreklow moves to head women's volleyball coach, while Susan Kreklow will assume husband Wayne's former associate head coach role. Davis joined the Troy staff in 1993 and led the volleyball program to a 70-44 overall record before relinquishing the volleyball duties to concentrate on her head softball coach duties.
