TEAM RED SWEEPS TEAM WHITE IN UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICA MATCH (12/20/2009)
Penn State signee Maddie Martin from Plant High School in Tampa led team red to sweep team white. Martin earned Most Undenivable (MVP) honors for Team Red hitting at a .357 clip for the match with seven kills on 14 attempts and two errors. She added a block assist and three digs.

AVCA Announces 2009-10 Under Armour Girls HS All-America Teams (11/29/2009)
The 100 players represent 27 states and 81 high schools including First-Teamers Maddie Martin of Plant High School and Elise Walch of Martin County High School. Second-Team honors went to Jessica Greenberg from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, Alex Johnson from Leon High School and Andrea McQuaid from Red Oak High School. Florida stand-outs Ciara Brown, Jordan Cangelosi, Brittany Haber, Becca Howard Katie Mosher, Molly Pearce, and Lindsay Young received Honorable Mention recognition.
