DIII No. 9 Vassar Sweeps SUNY Purchase

Purchase, N.Y. - Vassar's men's volleyball team won its second consecutive match and improved 5-2 on the season and 2-0 in the NECVA, with a 30-14, 30-14, 30-19 victory over SUNY Purchase this afternoon.

Vassar was led by sophomore Phill Tully, who had 14 kills and a .370 attack percentage. Fellow sophomore Steve Micucci and junior Scott Leserman had seven kills each and freshman Evan Fredericksen had six kills to register an early career high.

Senior Kyle Guinta, already second on Vassar's all-time digs list, added to his total with 11 digs on the afternoon.

Sophomore Andres Posada and junior Ben Coleman each had 12 assists. Junior John Kessenich had 10.
