Amy Wade, a 5-9 senior outside hitter at Cal State Bakersfield, is the AVCA/Sports Imports Division II National Player of the Week for leading the Roadrunners to 3-0 victories over conference foes Chico State and California-Davis this past week.  Wade averaged 8.33 kills, 4.67 digs and 0.67 blocks per game while attacking at a .325 percentage on 117 attempts.  During the match against Chico State, she reset the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) mark for kills in a three-game match with 28 for the third time this season.   Wade is a three-time All-CCAA selection who earned AVCA First Team All-America status and CCAA Co-Player of the Year honors as a sophomore in 1997.
