Erin Fralick, a 6-0 senior middle blocker from Alma College (8-13, 8-2 Michigan Intercollegiate), has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III National Player of the Week. Fralick averaged 5.8 points, 4.5 kills and 1.30 blocks per game while hitting .571 in three Scots victories. She hit .667 in a three-game win over Olivet on Oct. 5 as she tallied 16 kills on 24 errorless attempts and five blocks. Fralick charted 16 kills on a .600 attack percentage with five blocks versus Tri-State on Oct. 8. She recorded 13 kills on a .464 hitting percentage in a four-game victory over Adrian on Oct. 8. She averages 5.1 points, 4.16 kills and 0.95 blocks per game while hitting .414 on the season, including a conference-best .483 mark in league. The Scots have won six of their last seven matches after starting the season 0-7. Fralick is the first Scot to receive the national honor. The Alma head coach is Steve Humm.
