Two to be Inducted into Inaugural JVDA Hall of Fame

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The JVDA will be inducting two honorees into its inaugural JVDA Hall of Fame class on Monday June 30, 2008. The honorees are John Trojaniak and Mary Jo Peppler. The induction will occur at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

John Trojaniak is an icon of Chicago junior volleyball history, as he was a leader in establishing Chicago as a hotbed of junior volleyball in America. He developed, not only great players, but fed the entire Chicago area with skilled and dedicated coaches to promote and grow the sport.

A long time club director, Mary Jo Peppler, is a pioneer in the sport of volleyball. As a successful player, coach, clinician and administrator, Peppler has forged many new inroads for those that followed. A former Olympic athlete, her accomplishments include collegiate national championship coaching titles, USAV National Championship teams and much more.
