CARSON, Calif. - Jane Chafeh, Jessica Granados and Deanna Bathauer fueled Cal State San Bernardino comebacks in sets two and three Friday night as Cal State San Bernardino put away a stubborn Cal State Dominguez Hills team, 3-0, in a CCAA women's volleyball match at the Torodome.

Chafeh, a sophomore outside hitter from Fontana, had a match-high 14 kills on .500 hitting with nine digs while Granados and Bathauer each had seven kills as CSUSB improved to 16-1 overall and 8-1 in the CCAA by taking the match in straight sets, 25-17, 26-24 and 25-20.

The Toros, who led the Coyotes in the second and third sets until late in the set, fell to 1-16, 0-9 in the conference.

The Coyotes, ranked No. 2 in the nation in NCAA Division II, move on to Cal State L.A. for a 7 p.m. CCAA match on Saturday night while the Toros host Cal Poly Pomona. The CSUSB-L.A. match will be webcast (audio only) at (click on Listen Live.)

Granados scored the last five points of the set, capping the 26-24 win with a service ace.

In game three, the Coyotes were down 10-6 but rallied behind Bathauer and Chafeh. Chafeh had four kills as CSUSB moved in front 22-19 and then made it 23-19 on a solo block by freshman Mercedes Winchester. Chafeh's kill made it 24-19.
