BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Senior outside hitter Joe Trinsey landed 13 kills and posted seven blocks as the third-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology men's volleyball team upended Baruch College in three-straight sets (30-27, 20-27, 20-27). Stevens continued its dominant play at the net having out-blocked the Bearcats 18-8. The Ducks notched a .245 team hitting percentage as they improve to 16-3 on the year.

Sophomore outside hitter SteFan PremDas had 11 kills and four blocks, while senior outside hitter John Dennan buried 10 kills and had three total blocks in the win. Sophomore setter Brandt Grobeis dished out 34 assists as senior libero Michael Bertucci led defensively with eight digs.

Senior right-side hitter Daniel Levent (Forest Hills, N.Y.) led the way for the Bearcats with 15 kills and a pair of blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Pablo Oliveira (Uberlandia, Brazil) finished with 12 kills, two blocks and a service ace. Junior setter Radu Wyrwas (Bialystok, Poland) connected on 40 assists and had 14 digs. Freshman outside hitter Gabriel Rivera (Central Islip, N.Y.) chipped in with seven digs as the team posted a .153 attacking rating.

The Ducks return to action on Monday when they host Yeshiva University in a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Metro matchup at 8 p.m. Hoboken, N.J.
