Teresa Masava Named NAIA Volleyball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Teresa Masava of Campbellsville (Ky.) has been selected as the NAIA Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008.

Masava, a sophomore outside hitter from Nairobi, Kenya, averaged 5.06 kills and 3.59 digs in five matches for the Lady Tigers last week. She recorded four double-doubles during the week with 24 kills and 14 digs against Spring Hill College, 21 kills and 11 digs against Milligan College, 17 kills and 17 digs against Berry College and 14 kills and 18 digs against Birmingham Southern. Masava also added 10 kills and three solo blocks against Pikeville College. She was named the MCP of the Berry College Tournament over the weekend.
