TAMPA, Fla. (December 20, 2009) - Team Red, led by Penn State signee Maddie Martin from Plant High School in Tampa, swept Team White, 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 to win the 2009 Under Armour All-America Volleyball Match held Sunday at the St. Pete Times Forum.


Martin earned Most Undeniable (MVP) honors for Team Red hitting at a .357 clip for the match with seven kills on 14 attempts and two errors.  She added a block assist and three digs.


Northwestern University signee Stephanie Holthus from Burlington Central High School in Burlington, Ill. was named Most Undeniable (MVP) for Team White.  Holthus had four kills, two errors on 11 attempts and added five digs defensively.


The match will premiere on national television Sunday, December 27 at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPNU.

Hardest Hitter for Middle Blockers - Tori Dixon, Burnsville HS, Burnsville, Minnesota

Best Defender - Kristina Graven, Archbishop Mitty HS, San Jose, California

Team Red Most Undeniable Player (MVP) - Maddie Martin, Plant HS, Tampa, Florida

Team White Most Undeniable Player (MVP) - Stephanie Holthus, Burlington Central HS, Burlington, Illinois.
