Baden Joins AVCA as an Official Corporate Partner
Lexington, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), a division of IMG Associations, is pleased to announce Baden Sports, Inc. as its newest corporate partner. The two parties have come to terms on a four-year agreement that will name Baden the "Official Court Volleyball of the AVCA."
The new partnership will be announced and celebrated at the upcoming AVCA Convention, Dec.15-19, in Kansas City, Mo., where Baden will provide balls and carts for the Mateflex demonstration courts in the Volleyball Marketplace, the AVCA Minority Coaches Workshop and the AVCA Talent Showcase. The AVCA Pre-Convention Seminar, Training Matters: Building a Championship Program, will feature University of Southern California coach, Mick Haley, a Baden spokesperson. Also, Baden will host a Perfection® & Confection Dessert Break for attendees on Friday, Dec. 17 at noon and is a co-sponsor of the Nfinity ‘80's Party on Friday night.
During the term of the agreement Baden will be the exclusive seller of court volleyball products through the AVCA web site, where they will feature a Baden "Product of the Month." Baden will also partner with the AVCA on high school clinics and the AVCA Spring Conference.
