Teams Announced for 2011 Men’s Volleyball NAIA National Invitational Tournament
The field has been set for the 2011 Men's Volleyball NAIA National Invitational Tournament.
Top-ranked California Baptist University returns looking for its fourth straight National Championship. The Lancers are joined in Pool A by host school St. Ambrose University and #6 Johnson & Wales University.
Pool B includes #2 Lindenwood University, #4 Park University and #5 Warner University.
The three-day tournament played in Davenport, Iowa, begins with pool play on Thursday, April 14. The final two pool play matches will be contested Friday, April 15, before the semifinals that night. The championship match will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. This marks the second straight year St. Ambrose has hosted the event.
In front of record crowds last year, California Baptist defeated Missouri Baptist 3-0 to win its third-straight and seventh overall National Championship.
