Bradley Borsay, a 6-5 freshman outside hitter for Sacred Heart University, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Men's Division I-II National Player of the Week.  Borsay led the Pioneers to a pair of victories with one of them coming against Division III No.1-ranked Springfield and the other against George Mason. Against the Pride, Borsay recorded 11 kills and seven digs in the sweep.  In the second game of the week against the Patriots, the Rhode Island stepped up his game nailing 21 kills with an impressive .655 hitting percentage to extend their winning streak to four games.  In the opening set, Borsay had six kills on six swings while tallying four digs in the win. For the week, the freshman averaged 5.33 kills/set and a .462 hitting percentage.  This is the first time in program history a player from Sacred Heart has won the DI-DII AVCA Player of the Week.  The Pioneers are coached by Rob Mochan.
