Brandt Grobeis, a 6-1 setter for then-No. 10 Stevens Institute of Technology, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Men's Division III National Player of the Week.  The Ducks went 3-1 with two of the wins coming against then-No. 7 Baruch and then-No. 5 Rivier.  In those two games combined, Grobeis tallied an astounding 101 assists while racking up seven kills in the process.  Stevens split the following two games to D'Youville and Rutgers-Newark, winning the former. In those two games, the New Jersey native accumulated another 82 assists and 18 digs.  For the week, Grobeis averaged just over 11.44 assists with a .417 hitting percentage per game.  It is the seventh time a men's volleyball player from Stevens Institute of Technology has been named an AVCA Player of the Week, and Grobeis' second time.  The first time he took home the honor was the week of February 8, 2010. The Ducks are coached by Patrick Dorywalski.
