Jeremy Sajdak, a 6-5 outside hitter for D'Youville College, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Men's Division III National Player of the Week.  The Spartans took home a pair of wins this week with victories over Bard and No. 15 SUNY New Paltz.  In the first game against Bard, Sajdak tallied 19 kills, six digs and seven blocks in the five-set match.  In game two, Sajdak improved upon his performance with a match-high 22 kills and 12 digs.  For his outstanding play, he was named United Volleyball Conference Player of the Week.  It is the first career weekly conference award for the six-foot five senior outside hitter. For the week, he averaged 4.56 kills/set.  This marks the 10th time a men's volleyball player from D'Youville College has been named an AVCA Player of the Week, and Sajdak's first time.  The last time a Spartan received this award was the week of March 19, 2007 when John Colosi won it. The Spartans are coached by John Hutton.
