Kelly Reeves, a sophomore outside hitter for then-No. 7 UCLA, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week. She recorded two double-doubles to lead the Bruins to victories over then - No. 2 Stanford followed by then - No. 1 California.  On Friday against the Cardinal, Reeves nailed 17 kills and tallied 14 digs in the thrilling five-set victory.  Against the Golden Bears the next day, the California native had 14 kills and digs, hitting .444 with only two errors on 27 swings.  Reeves, who has seven double-figure dig matches this season and four double-figure contests, is second on the team with 2.77 digs per set and 2.43 kills per set.  Though her offensive numbers were impressive, Reeves was named the Pac-12's Defensive Player of the Week.  This honor marks the sixth time an athlete from the UCLA has received the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week award, with the latest coming the week of September 15, 2009 when Lauren Cook took home the honor.  The Bruins are coached by Mike Sealy.
