Lauren Plum, a sophomore setter for then-No. 18 University of Oregon, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week. She led the Ducks to two Pac-12 home victories, including a win over then-No. 7 Washington.  In the first match of the weekend against Washington State, Plum recorded a double-double tallying 45 assists and 10 digs, and recorded her season-high in blocks with four.  The following day, Oregon swept away the Huskies thanks in large part to Plum's performance.  She had another 12 digs, but more impressively amassed 52 assists to help lead her team to a .283 team hitting percentage.  Her 52 assists in three sets was a Pac-12 season-high on both overall and non-conference play.  Her two double-doubles this weekend were her seventh and eight of the season, and 15th in her young career. This honor marks the 5th time an athlete from the University of Oregon has received the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week award, with the most recent coming the week of September 28, 2010 when Alaina Bergsma took home the honor.  The Ducks are coached by Jim Moore.
