Olivia Snipes, a senior setter for Flagler College, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division II National Player of the Week after leading her team to a pair of victories. In their first home match of the week against Francis Marion, Snipes had 52 assists and six digs. She picked it up in the second match against UNC Pembroke, setting 62 assists and recording another 11 digs. Those 62 assists marked the second time this season she eclipsed the 60 assists mark, and she owns the only 60+ assist matches in the league so far. The South Carolina native currently leads the Peach Belt Conference and is ranked in the top-6 nationally with 12 assists per set and has the Saints leading the Peach Belt in total kills (866), kills per set (14.43) and hitting percentage (.264). This is the first time in program history a Flagler Saint has earned Sports Imports/AVCA Division II Player of the Week honors. They are coached by Taylor Mott.
