Jackie Stabel, a senior outside hitter for No. 12 Colorado School of Mines, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division II National Player of the Week.  The Orediggers defeated two ranked teams in the AVCA Coaches Poll on the road to jump up two spots from No. 14 a week ago.  In their win over then-No. 13 Regis, Stabell nailed 12 kills, hitting .300 with four blocks.  She followed that up with 17 kills on a .368 attack percentage in the five-set win over No. 23 Metro State.  At the end of the weekend, she moved into third on the Mines' all-time kill list, and now is just 30 kills out of second.  This marks the third time and the second player from the Colorado School of Mines to earn a Sports Imports/AVCA Division II Player of the Week honor, with the most recent honoree occurring last year, the week of October 11th, when Amanda Massey garnered the award.  The Orediggers are coached by Jamie Skadeland.
