2013 AVCA Division NAIA Men's All-America Teams

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 17, 2013) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is pleased to announce its fourth annual NAIA Men's Volleyball All-America Team.

 

This year's team honors 10 student-athletes: four seniors, four juniors, and two sophomores.  Three of the distinguished individuals are outside hitters, while three middle blockers, two setters and two right side hitters earn accolades.

 

Both Park University and Concordia University Irvine had two individuals honored, while Cardinal Stritch University, Hope International University, Missouri Baptist University, Warner University, St. Ambrose University and Clarke University each landed one player on the list. Earning repeat All-America nods were Rob Cordero (Park), Robert Esser (Missouri Baptist), Kyle Schwetz (St. Ambrose) and Tyler Wills (Clarke) 


The selections were made by the AVCA NAIA Men's Volleyball All-America Committee: Bill Gleeson - Chair (St. Ambrose University), Kristofer Dorn (Clarke University), Donan Cruz (Grand View University), Tim Johnson (Hope International) and Jade Brubaker (Hannibal-LaGrange).
