2001 AVCA ALL-AMERICA TEAMS ANNOUNCED FOR DIVISION II WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce the 21st annual All-America team for Division II women's volleyball. The awards will be presented Nov. 28, 2001, at the NCAA Division II Women's Elite Eight Championship banquet. Grand Valley State University hosts the 2001 Elite Eight on Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 1.

The 2001 All-America selections were made by the AVCA Division II Postseason Awards Committee: Kim Sudbeck Marcil, Augustana College (S.D.); Kim Cherniss, California State, San Bernardino; Laurie Lokash, Slippery Rock University; Peggy Martin, Central Missouri State University; Robin Salters, University of New Haven, Deanne Scanlon, Grand Valley State University; Alan Segal, Armstrong Atlantic State University; and Tom Shoji, University of Southern Colorado.
