Christi Hahn, a 6-0 junior middle blocker for Texas A&M University (14-12, 7-10 Big 12), has been chosen the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week after leading the Aggies to a pair of five-game victories last week with consecutive career-high kill performances. She averaged 5.20 points, 4.40 kills, 1.10 blocks, 0.80 digs and 0.20 aces per game while hitting .520. Hahn produced a .526 attack percentage against Kansas on Nov. 16 with 21 kills, five blocks, three digs and an ace. She contributed a career-high 23 kills on .514 hitting against then-24th-ranked Colorado on Nov. 19. Hahn added six blocks, five digs and an ace against the Buffs. She hit .201 above her season attack percentage of .319, while improving her per game season averages to 3.55 points, 2.79 kills, 0.87 blocks and 0.69 digs. Hahn is the second Aggie to receive the national honor as Laura Jones earned the honor on Oct. 18, 2004. The Texas A&M head coach is Laurie Corbelli.
