AVCA Women's NCCAA All-America Awards

 

NCCAA Division I All-America | NCCAA Division II All-America 

 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (December 12, 2013) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is pleased to announce its fifth annual National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I Women's Volleyball All-America Team.

 

In cooperation with its relationship with the NCCAA, the AVCA will award an All-America Team for both NCCAA Divisions I and II, as well as a National Coach of the Year, National Assistant Coach of the Year and National Player of the Year.  NCCAA coaches are also eligible to receive the AVCA Team Academic Award and AVCA Victory Club awards.

 

This year's team honors 14 student-athletes: seven seniors, four juniors and three sophomores. Six of the lauded individuals are outside hitters, while three setters, four middle blockers and one libero also earned distinction. In addition, three student-athletes are making their second appearance as an AVCA NCCAA Division I All-America selection.
