AVCA Division II National Assistant Coach of the Year - Bouaketh Chanthavisouk, Gannon University
Tampa, Fla. (December 9, 2015) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce that Palm Beach Atlantic Head Women's Volleyball Coach Bob White has been selected as the 2015 AVCA Division II National Coach of the Year, while Gannon University Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach Bouaketh Chanthavisouk has been named the AVCA Division II National Assistant Coach of the Year. The announcement was made at the NCAA Volleyball Division II Banquet at Tampa University. These two coaches will also be honored at the Jostens Coaches Honors Luncheon on December 17th in conjunction with the AVCA Convention in Omaha, Nebraska.

-29-4 overall record, provisional member of Sunshine State Athletic Conference
-Defeated Florida Southern 3-1 to win program's first-ever NCAA South Region Volleyball Championship

-Rattled off a 15-match winning streak spanning October and November
-Three players received AVCA All-American honors in 2015, including the school's first-ever first team selection.
-Defeated 7-time national champion Concordia-St. Paul and then-5th ranked Tampa both on the road.

-Helped team to 24-11 overall record, 15-7 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
-Sixth season as assistant coach for Gannon University
-Team has won over 70 percent of matches with Chanthavisouk on the sidelines.
-Leads video sessions, develops drills for setters and/or middles, supervises study hours for team members
-Coordinates service opportunities in the community, organizes clinics for youth in the area and runs the annual Dig Pink! event.
