Allie Brak, a sophomore outside hitter for Truman State University, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division II National Player of the Week.  Brak helped lead the Bulldogs to a perfect 4-0 record last week at the 2012 Washburn Lady Blues Fall Classic.  After recording 15 kills and a .361 hitting percentage in their first win over East Central, Brak stepped it up against Harding, nailing 18 kills and 16 digs for a double-double.  Over the course of the next two matches against SW and SE Oklahoma State, Brak accumulated 28 kills and 14 digs while hitting .407 and .500, respectively.  In the win over the latter, the Texas native smashed five aces, giving her a total of seven on the week.  In the tournament, the sophomore averaged 4.36 kills and 2.42 digs per set hitting at a .363 clip.   This marks just the fourth player from Truman to earn a Sports Imports/AVCA Division II Player of the Week honor, with the previous coming from Jessica Sears the week of September 22, 2003.  The Bulldogs are coached by Ben Briney.
