Brittney Langley, a sophomore opposite for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III National Player of the Week. It was an offensively dominant week for Langley where she not only improved every match, but also contributed defensively in the perfect 3-0 week. First up was Wisconsin-Platteville, where the Illinois native smashed 14 kills on .379 hitting with three digs and as many blocks. Over the next two matches against Augustana and Wheaton, Langley tallied a combined 27 kills, three aces, six digs and five blocks while hitting .476 and .583, respectively. This is the fifth time a student-athlete from UW-Whitewater has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III National Player of the Week, with the most recent coming from Cassy Uttech on October 4, 2004. The Warhawks are coached by Stacy Boudreau.
