Jarmoc led the Jayhawks to a pair of Big 12 wins, including a key victory over in-state rival and then-No. 14 Kansas State. Against the Wildcats in Lawrence, Jarmoc tallied her first career double-double with 11 kills and a career-high 12 total blocks to go along with her four digs. In that match, Kansas out-blocked their opponent by an 18-5 margin. In the following match against TCU, the Canada native smashed another 23 kills while hitting .613 in the four-set win. For her efforts, she was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week. This marks the third time a student-athlete from Kansas has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week, with the most recent honor going to Karina Garlington the week of November 11, 2008. The Jayhawks are coached by Ray Bechard.
