                Luczynski leads Hawks to CCC Championship

Nov. 8 -    Krystie Luczynski, a sophomore middle hitter for Roger Williams University, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III National Player of the Week after she helped lead her team to their third consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship.  In the first match against Western New England, Luczynski hit .409 with 11 kills, four digs and four blocks.  In the CCC Championship game against Endicott, the Connecticut native had a match-high 20 kills hitting at a .350 clip.  This is the first time an athlete from Roger Williams has won the honor.  The Hawks are coached by Rob Mullowney.
