Hartong had a monster two matches keeping the Rainbow Wahine at a perfect 12-0 in the Big West and an overall record of 19-2. In the first match at Long Beach State, Hartong reeled off a career-high 33 kills hitting .329, including an additional 15 digs helping Hawai'i recover from a first set loss. The second match proved to be no easier, as the California native was instrumental in helping her squad come back from a 2-1 deficit to unleash five, fifth-set kills. Overall, she tallied another 29 kills and recorded another career-high, this time in digs with 16. Averaging nearly seven kills per set for the week, Hartong recorded her fifth and sixth double-doubles of the year en route to her third Big West Player of the Week honor. This marks the seventh time a student-athlete from Hawai'i has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week, with the most recent honor going to Jamie Houston the week of October 9, 2006. The Rainbow Wahine are coached by Dave Shoji.
