MJ Massanet, a sophomore outside hitter for No. 7 Nebraska-Kearney, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division II National Player of the Week.  Massanet helped lead her Lopers to a perfect 3-0 week and jump another two spots in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll from No. 9.  She recorded a double-double in every match notching 15 kills and 10 digs against Missouri Western then another 15 kills and 14 digs three days later against Southwest Baptist.  She saved her most efficient match for last, nailing 11 kills on .429 hitting to complement her 12 digs.  For the week, the Kansas native averaged 4.56 kills and 4.0 digs per set and hit at a .326 clip.  The is the 11th time a student-athlete from Nebraska-Kearney has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Player of the Week, with the most recent coming from Liz McGowan on November 13, 2012.  The Lopers are coached by Rick Squires.
