| Photo courtesy Juniata Athletics | Ross Madden, a 6-5 junior outside hitter for No. 4 Juniata College, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Men's Division III National Player of the Week. Madden led the Eagles to a 3-1 record after recording double-digit kills in the three victories. His best match of the week came in their first match against Thiel, where he tallied 14 kills hitting .400, and added another five digs and seven blocks. He matched his 14-kill match in the loss to No. 2 Carthage, and nailed a combined 18 kills in the next two victories over Fontbonne and Stevenson. Defensively, he finished the weekend with a .958 serve receive percentage after committing four errors in 96 attempts. This is the 21st time a player from Juniata has garnered Sports Imports/Player of the Week honors. The most recent Juniata honoree came from Joe Bortak on February 28th of last year. The Eagles are coached by Kevin Moore.
