2015 Record: 27-8, 17-1 BIG EAST

Thirteenth season at the helm of Creighton...2015 BIG EAST Conference Coach of the Year...Won second consecutive league title...Swept then-No. 10 Kentucky earlier in the year, which was their highest ranked victory in program history...Creighton is advancing to the Round of 16 for the first time...Used 12 different starting lineups and four different setters in the regular season...This is her first AVCA Region Coach of the Year honor while coaching at the Division I level.

 

AVCA Division I East Coast Region Coach of the Year
Joshua Steinbach, Villanova University
2015 Record: 25-9, 14-3 BIG EAST

Ninth year at Villanova...After being picked to finish seventh in the preseason conference coaches poll, went on to record their most wins since 1993, their best winning percentage in program history and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament...It was their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1997...Their second-place conference finish was their highest since 1997...This marks his first AVCA Region Coach of the Year honor.

 

AVCA Division I Midwest Region Coach of the Year
Ray Bechard, University of Kansas
2015 Record: 28-2, 14-2 Big 12

Eighteenth year as the head coach of Kansas...First time in program history Kansas has held a top-10 ranking in the AVCA Coaches Poll...Best single-season winning percentage of all time... Held the program's longest ever winning streak (19)...Advanced to the Round of 16 with NCAA Tournament victories over Furman and Missouri...This is his third AVCA Region Coach of the Year award after also taking it home in 2012 and 2013.

 

AVCA Division I North Region Coach of the Year
Hugh McCutcheon, University of Minnesota
2015 Record: 28-4. 18-2 Big Ten

Fourth year with the Golden Gophers...Named Big Ten Coach of the Year...In one stretch, they rattled off 15 straight wins with seven coming against ranked teams...Finished first in the conference after being picked to finish fifth...Ended up winning their first Big Ten Championship since 2002...Wasn't ranked in the AVCA Coaches Poll until Week #3, and currently holds a No. 4 ranking...This is his second AVCA Region Coach of the Year (2013).

 

AVCA Division I Northeast Region Coach of the Year
Chuck Voss, Cleveland State University
2015 Record: 26-7, 13-3 Horizon League

2015 marks season No. 16 for Chuck Voss...Named Horizon League Coach of the Year...Won the program's third ever conference championship...Just the second time the Vikings won both the Horizon League regular season and tournament title...Marked their sixth 20-win season under Voss...His first AVCA Region Coach of the Year.

 

AVCA Division I Pacific North Region Coach of the Year
Keegan Cook, University of Washington
2015 Record: 30-2, 18-2 Pac-12

This is his first season leading the Washington Huskies...Won a share of the Pac-12 Championship...It was the program's fourth time winning at least a share of the conference title...Earned a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament and currently hold the No. 1 spot in the AVCA Coaches Poll...All eight outsides or middles had a career-best in kills and kills per set...Defeated Denver and Michigan State to advance to the Round of 16...Cook is a first-time AVCA Region Coach of the Year.

 

AVCA Division I Pacific South Region Coach of the Year
Mick Haley, University of Southern California
2015 Record: 32-2, 18-2 Pac-12

Fifteenth Season at the helm of the Trojans...Made significant adjustments to double his win total from 16 wins a year ago to 32 (so far)...Their work is still not over, advancing to the Round of 16 for the 13th time in program history...Mentored senior outside hitter Samantha Bricio to become USC's record holder for career kills and the 2015 Pac-12 Player of the Year...Holds an 8-2 record against current nationally ranked teams in the AVCA Coaches Poll...This is his fifth AVCA Region Coach of the Year award (1989, 1990, 1993, 2011).

Her 23rd year as Texas A&M's Head Coach...SEC Coach of the Year...After picked to finish fourth in the conference, directed the Aggies to its first ever conference championship...Made adjustments to overcome the season-ending injury of a senior co-captain in non-conference play...Earned a program best No. 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament...Hold a No. 15 ranking in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll...Corbelli is now a three-time AVCA Region Coach of the Year (1992 and 1995).

 

AVCA Division I Southeast Region Coach of the Year

2015 Record: 27-6, 17-3 American Athletic

The only volleyball coach in the program's 19-year history...Set a program record with 27 victories...Advanced to the NCAA Tournament and won the program's first conference title...American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year...Guided five Mustangs to conference honors...She earns her first ever AVCA Region Coach of the Year.

 

AVCA Division I Southwest Region Coach of the Year

2015 Record: 28-2, 16-0 Sun Belt

Fourth season leading the Red Wolves...The perfect conference record is the first for the school since 1996...Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year...The .933 hitting percentage is the second-highest in program history...Entering the NCAA Tournament, held the nation's longest winning streak at 24 matches...Earned their first ever AVCA Top-25 ranking...This is his first AVCA Region Coach of the Year at the Division I level...Won it three times while at Two-Year College's Blinn College.
