NCAA Division II

Ashley Pederson-Buckley just completed her second season at Augustana College. Buckley began her Augustana career spending the 2007 season as the Viking's top assistant. She then took over the reins in 2008 and has led her team through two strong seasons as the eighth head coach in the program's history.

In her first season as head coach in 2008, Pederson-Buckley helped the Vikings to an impressive 23-11 record, marking the program's first 20-win season since 2003. The 2009 season saw Pederson-Buckely's squad turn in a 14-18 record and finish seventh in the highly-competitive Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, which had five teams ranked in the 2009 AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll.

Prior to her coaching career, Pederson-Buckley was no stranger to success. She was a starting outside hitter and team captain at Penn State University from 2001 through 2004 and holds the Penn State record for single season attempts at 1,444. Throughout her time at Penn State, the Nittany Lions volleyball team made four straight NCAA Division I Tournament appearances as well as winning two Big Ten Conference championships.
