Head Coach, Atlantic Valley Volleyball Club
During his tenure as a student at New Jersey City University, Christopher Feliciano was spending much of his free time learning the craft of volleyball coaching as an assistant at Union High School, from where he had recently graduated. Upon completing his degree from NJCU, he quickly began his collegiate head coaching career with his alma mater in 2004. Feliciano served for several years as coach of both genders, guiding the men through 2007, and the women through 2008.
Feliciano's term at NJCU was the most successful five-year stretch in the history of the women's volleyball program. He left NJCU as its all-time winningest coach with a 131-39 record. He had 67 more wins than any other coach in the 25-plus-year history of the program.
Feliciano's success also carried over to the men's program, guiding them to a national ranking in the AVCA Men's Division III Coaches Top 15 Poll in 2006. After resigning his coaching positions at NJCU to concentrate on teaching, Feliciano is now back in the game, serving as a coach and coaching mentor at Atlantic City Volleyball Club, and recently completing his first season as assistant coach at Bloomfield College.
