Mulry decided to enter the coaching world because his love for the game. "I love the sport, I'm driven to be successful and I like teaching," Mulry said. "I think it's amazing how a sport can teach a player so many lessons they can use and take with them in life. "My ultimate goal is to be part of the women's or men's national team coaching staff. In all honesty though, I'm happy coaching six-year-olds or 16-year-olds if I can make a difference in just one person's life through my leadership and the sport of volleyball."
