first time this year, there is a tie for setter of the week, with J.P. DaSilva
of Park University, and Ainoa Miyashiro of Graceland University earning the
distinction. DaSilva led Park on a 5-0 run this weekend including a win over
then-No. 1 California Baptist University. DaSilva averaged 12.36 assists per
game and 2.45 digs per game helping his team to an overall record of 16-1.
Miyashiro only played one match this weekend and averaged 13.5 assists per game
and 2.25 digs per game. Graceland is currently unranked in the coaches poll
with an overall record of 2-7.

As with
the setters, there is a tie for the libero of the week, with Nebojsa Janovic of
Park University, and Kevin Allison of Graceland University earning the
distinction. Janovic helped Park to a perfect 5-0 record while recording 2.75
digs per game. Allison averaged 3.0 digs per game in their one loss to Missouri
Valley College this week.
