AVCA Education/Resources

NFHS Certification Program

The Fundamentals of Coaching Volleyball course was developed in partnership with USA Volleyball (USAV).  The course is endorsed by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).  It provides a unique student-centered curriculum on essential volleyball coaching techniques and methods for interscholastic teacher/coaches.  Olympian Kevin Barnett and Dietre Collins-Parker host the online course and present the material to the coach.  Skills videos and printable materials are readily available to the coach the Resources section of the course.

USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program

The American Volleyball Coaches Association is a proud supporter of the USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program (USAV-CAP).  This program provides an opportunity for professional preparation and advancement for the volleyball coach at any level.  Different examples of the content include Coaching Principles/Foundations, Motor Skill Learning Theory and more.  Led by the USA Volleyball Regional Volleyball Associations, this program allows fro in-class and on-court training.
