The IHSVCA is an affiliate chapter of the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Established in 2007 to build relationships between the AVCA and high school volleyball coaches across the country, affiliate partner member coaches who join the AVCA will receive the eduational tools, product/member discounts, publications and other benefits of being an AVCA member. With the anticipated addition of Illinois in 2010, the AVCA Affiliate Partner Program will grow to total nine states, including Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
IHSVCA Membership is open to all high school volleyball coaches in Illinois. This includes both boys and girls varsity, junior varsity, freshman and assistant coaches.
All coaches in attendance at the February 27, 2010 clinic, became a charter member of the Illinois High School Volleyball Coaches Association. For a complete list of charter members, click here.
IHSVCA Membership is $65 and includes:
- $50 one-year AVCA High School Affiliate Membership
- $15 to the IHSVCA to establish member benefits for the high school coaches and student-athletes in your state!
About the IHSA
The Illinois High School Association, founded in 1900, is a not-for-profit organization of over 750 public and private high schools. The IHSA regulates interscholastic competition in 13 sports for boys and 13 sports for girls, as well as 7 non-athletic activities. The IHSA is a charter member of the National Federation of State High School Associations.
