It is with a great deal of pleasure that the Junior Volleyball Association confers its first Life Time Achievement Award to Mary Jo Peppler. As a long time club director and a pioneer in the sport of volleyball her accomplishments are unique, distinctive, numerous and historic. As a successful player, coach, clinician and administrator she has forged many new inroads for those of us that followed in the sport of volleyball. Her accomplishments include, collegiate national championship coaching titles, USAV National Championship teams, USAV All-American, USA Olympian, USAV "All Time Great Player Award", Women's Sports Hall of Fame and induction into the Volleyball Hall of Fame. It is an honor for the JVDA to present this award to a true pioneer and innovator of the sport of volleyball.
