AVCA Pledge to Win Campaign

In order to fund the 2015 Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship, the AVCA is conducting its first ever, AVCA Pledge to Win Campaign.  The concept is simple: coaches will pledge a dollar amount for each set victory they achieve from Monday, September 21 through Monday, October 5.  As coaches, our goal is to see our team reach new heights on the court.  Now our team achievements can help fund a young coach's career by sending them to the 2015 AVCA Convention

Click here to make your pledge!

Once the two week window has ended on October 5, review you set wins and donate your total pledge as one lump sum.

Not interested in the whole Pledge to Win thing but still want to donate? Not a problem.  Pledge directly to the fundraiser:

 C4C Donate Button

*Please Note*: After going through the online steps to donate, Crowdrise will want to charge you an additional amount for credit card fees.  USE THE DROPDOWN MENU AND REMOVE THIS EXTRA CHARGE.  The AVCA will cover your credit card fees on the back end so that your full donation will go to the C4C scholarship fund.
If you plan on donating a large amount, the AVCA would prefer that you mail a check directly the AVCA office.  The check should be made out to "AVCA" with Coaches 4 Coaches included on the memo.

Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship General Information:

The Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship provides volleyball coaches the opportunity to attend their first AVCA Convention and explore the countless networking and educational opportunities that are made available to them. This is a unique experience and one in which the recipients will develop professional skills as well as learn about becoming a better coach and leader.

Over the life of the scholarship program, 44 winners have benefited from over $26,000 in donations. Most are now college assistant coaches or in leadership roles in their high school association or club.

Eligible applicants must be active AVCA members who are attending their first AVCA Convention. Applications for the scholarship are to be sent to the AVCA office and a selection committee will choose the recipients based upon academics, contributions to the sport of volleyball on and off the court, a professional letter of recommendation, and a personal written submission outlining their desire to attend the AVCA Annual Convention and their aspirations in coaching.
