Beginning this fall, the AVCA will begin its 2014 Coaches 4 Coaches Fundraiser campaign.  The money raised will help coaches attend their first ever AVCA Convention in Oklahmoa City this December.  Last year, the Coaches 4 Coaches Fundraiser was an immense success as together, we raised over $6,000 for the Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship.  This amount  helped send twelve coaches to their first covention.  Look for more information regarding this year's fundraiser in the coming weeks.

Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship:

The Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship provides volleyball coaches the opportunity to attend their first AVCA Convention and explore the countless networking and educational opportunities that are made available to them.  This is a unique experience and one in which the recipients will develop professional skills as well as learn about becoming a better coach and leader.

Eligible applicants must be active AVCA members who are attending their first AVCA Convention.  Applications for the scholarship are to be sent to the AVCA office and a selection committee will choose the eight recipients based upon academics, contributions to the sport of volleyball on and off the court, a professional letter of recommendation, and a personal written submission outlining their desire to attend the AVCA Annual Convention and their aspirations in coaching.
