AVCA: Who or what has made you want to pursue coaching?
Deborah Jones: As I was growing up playing volleyball, I had the best coaches. My high school and college coaches not only taught me how to be a great volleyball player, but they taught me how to become a better person. Once I was able to understand what coaching was all about, that is when I decided I wanted to pursue coaching.
AVCA: Who or what has been your biggest coaching influence?
DJ: Reginald McGary was my high school coach at West End High School. He prepared me for each level of play that I would experience in the future. He showed me what it took to become the best athlete and person on and off the court
