AVCA: Who or what has made you want to pursue coaching?
Andrew Pile: My family has always been my largest support system, but more specifically my dad. At the age of 12, my was the one that first introduced me to volleyball, and since then he has always been my biggest fan. Today, he continues to support me and help me turn volleyball into my career.
AVCA: Who or what has been your biggest coaching influence?
AP: My biggest coaching influence has always been my high school coach, Deb Schlosser. She saw something in me early on and helped guide and mold me in the player I've become. I've always admired her personalization to each individual that she coaches. She is a true player's coach, and knows how to get the best out of her athletes, mentally, not just physically. To this day, she continues to mentor and help me through coaching. There isn't enough space on this page to list all the ways Deb has helped me throughout my career.
AVCA: Please list your past and present coaching/playing experiences:

- Limestone College Athlete - 4 Years
- Muhlenberg College Assistant Coach - First Year
- Synergy Club Team Coach - First Year
- Club Lehigh Boys Coach - First Year
AVCA: What are you most looking forward to at the 2012 AVCA Annual Convention?
AP: I'm definitely looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the game. It'll be exciting to see how other coaches run their practices and to learn their philosophies of the game. I'm also looking forward to just meeting other coaches throughout the country, and making connections with people in the volleyball community.
