MA Maritime: Christine Ratches, who was a two-sport standout at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in the early 90's and also served as the school's head volleyball coach for six seasons, has returned to that same position at her alma mater. (posted 8/5/10) 

UCSC: After seven years as the women's volleyball head coach at UC Santa Cruz, Selene Teitelbaum has resigned to accept a position as associate head coach of Winona State' volleyball team. (posted 8/4/10) 

NYU: Chris Pinto, formerly an assistant coach for both the women's and men's volleyball squads, has been named interim head coach at New York University. (posted 8/4/10) 

New Orleans: University of New Orleans interim athletic director Amy Champion announced the hiring of Kim Young as the school's new head volleyball coach. Young comes to UNO after spending the last six years in a similar role at Grambling. (posted 7/30/10) 

Nicholls State: Nicholls State Athletics Director Rob Bernardi has hired TeAna Tramel as the new head women's volleyball coach. Tramel comes to Nicholls after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Washington State University. (posted 7/30/10) 

Northern Iowa: Northern Iowa women's volleyball coach Bobbi Peterson has agreed to a new contract through 2018. (posted 7/28/10) 

Manhattanville: Daniel Cruz has been named the new head women's volleyball coach at Manhattanville College. Cruz brings six years of coaching experience to Manhattanville, including the last five as head women's volleyball coach at Passaic County Community College. (posted 7/27/10) 

West Virginia: Longtime West Virginia University volleyball coach Veronica Hammersmith is stepping down after 35 years. The university announced that Hammersmith is retiring and won't coach the team this season. (posted 7/26/10) 

Odessa: In the fall of 2011, women's volleyball will be added to the list of nationally recognized athletic programs at Odessa College. Alana Rowland has been selected as the first head coach in school history. Rowland comes to Odessa College after having spent four seasons as assistant volleyball coach at Seward County Community College. (posted 7/23/10) 

Chicago State: Chicago State University Athletics Director Sudie Davis announced the additiona of former Bloom Township High School girls' volleyball head coach Bob Eskew as the new head coach for the University's volleyball program. (posted 7/21/10) 

Dakota County Tech: Kari Peterson, the former interim head women's volleyball coach for the University of North Dakota, has been named the head coach of the new women's volleyball team at Dakota Technical College. (posted 7/21/10)  

Grand Canyon: Grand Canyon University has selected Jeremy Price to be the school's second men's volleyball coach. Price was previously the head coach at Juniata College. (posted 7/19/10) 

Wentworth: Jenn Kelemen was hired by her alma mater Wentworth as head coach of the women's volleyball program. Kelemen was a student-athlete on the Leopard's womens' volleyball team from 2005-2008 and served as a volunteer coach last season. (posted 7/15/10) 

Durham: Andrew Hinchey was named the men's volleyball coach at Durham College after spending the last two years as an assistant coach with Melbourne University while on a teaching assignment in Australia. (posted 7/15/10) 

Mount Marty: Mount Marty College has named Candice Climer as the new head volleyball coach. Climer was previously the head volleyball coach at Hartington (Neb.) High School for the past two years. (posted 7/15/10) 

CCNY: Stafford Barzey has been named head coach at the City College of New York after previously serving as assistant coach at Pace University. (posted 7/12/10)

Austin Peay: Haley Janicek, who served as Austin Peay State University's assistant volleyball coach in 2009, has been elevated to lead the program for the upcoming 2010 campaign. (posted 7/12/10)

Brockport: Kelly Greapentrog has been hired as the head women's volleyball coach at The College of Brockport. For the past three years Greapentrog served as the head coach at St. John Fisher College. (posted 7/8/10) 

MidAmerica Nazarene: MidAmerica Nazarene University has named Kristin Steele as head volleyball coach. Steele previously was head volleyball coach at Redlands Community College in El Reno, Okla. (posted 7/8/10) 

Garrett CC: Former Winfield High School (Charleston, WV) girls' basketball and volleyball coach Paul Sutherland has been named the head volleyball coach at Garrett Community College. (posted 7/8/10) 

Chesapeake College: Craig Hollidge has been named the head women's volleyball coach at Chesapeake College. Hollidge spent the last three years as an assistant coach at Salisbury University. (posted 7/8/10) 

Hastings: Hastings College has announced Lori Willadsen as the new Hastings College head volleyball coach. Willadsen comes to HC with 17 years of high school and club coaching experience. She has been the head volleyball coach at Eaton High School in Eaton, Colo., since 2005. (posted 6/30/10)

St. Catherine: St. Catherine University has announced that Corey Phelps will be taking over as head coach for the Wildcats volleyball program. Phelps, who has been coaching collegiate volleyball for the past 12 seasons, joins the Wildcats after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. Davidson County CC: Davidson County Community College has named Heather Adkins as its new head volleyball coach. (posted 6/30/10) 

Augustana (IL): Jamie Walters has been selected as the new volleyball coach at Augustana. Walters, who has served as the head coach at Aurora University for the last three seasons, becomes the 10th head coach in the history of the program. (posted 6/29/10) 

Shenandoah: Shenandoah University announced that Jaime Terenzi has been named as the Hornets new head women's volleyball coach. Terenzi comes to Shenandoah after serving as the Assistant Athletics Director and head men's and women's volleyball coach at Newbury College (Mass.). (posted 6/29/10)

Xavier: Mike Johnson, formerly head coach at Austin Peay State University, has been named Xavier University's ninth volleyball head coach. (posted 6/29/10) 

Lees-McRae: Wes Schneider, who spent the past season as assistant coach to both the men's and women's programs at Lees-McRae College, has been named head women's coach and will take the reigns of the Lady Bobcats effective immediately. (posted 6/28/10) 

Valley City State: Susan Koblow has accepted the position of head volleyball coach at Valley City State University. Kolbow comes to VCSU from Minnesota State University Moorhead where she has been an assistant volleyball coach since 2006. (posted 6/24/10) 

Nicholls State: The Nicholls State University Athletic Department announced the resignation of head volleyball coach Chris Laird. (posted 6/23/10) 

Saint Joseph's (Maine): Saint Joseph's College Athletic Director Brian Curtin has announced the hiring of Yamile Nolan as the head coach of the women's volleyball program. Nolan, who served as an assistant coach for the Monks last fall, brings a wealth of playing experience to the table as the team's new leader. (posted 6/22/10) 

Regis (Mass.): Chris Ridolfi has been hired as the head coach of the men's and women's volleyball programs. Ridolfi most recently served at the College of Holy Cross as head coach of the NCAA Division I women's volleyball program. (posted 6/22/10)

Howard: Dawn Barnes, formerly the volunteer assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh, has been named head volleyball coach at Howard University. (posted 6/15/10) 

Gustavus Adolphus: Rachelle Dosch has been named the head volleyball coach at Gustavus Adolphus College. Dosch replaces Kari Eckheart who resigned to accept the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Student Athlete Services at the College. Ripon College: The Ripon College athletic department has announced the hiring of Katie Carrier as the school's head volleyball coach. Carrier comes to Ripon after a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Southern Illinois University. (posted 6/10/10) 

CSU San Marcos: Cal State San Marcos has announced that they have hired Sarah Gustin as the first women's volleyball head coach. Her previous job was an assistant coach at Indiana University since 2007. (posted 6/10/10) 

Bemidji State: Wayne Chadwick has been hired as BSU's head volleyball coach. Chadwick joins the Bemidji State athletic family after a three-year stint as the assistant coach at NCAA Division I University of Tulsa. (posted 6/9/10) 

Coker: Coker College will hire Todd Caughlin as the new head women's volleyball coach for the Cobras. Caughlin comes to Coker after spending the last nine years at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. (posted 6/2/10) 

St. Elizabeth: Antonio Martins has been named the new head volleyball coach at the College of Saint Elizabeth. (posted 6/2/10) 

St. Thomas: Trent Herman has been named the head volleyball coach at the University of St. Thomas. Herman comes to UST after spending the last two years as technical director and coach at the Absolute Volleyball Academy. (posted 5/24/10) 

Southern MS: University of Southern Mississippi hired former St. Norbert College volleyball standout Abbey Sutherland as head coach of its women's volleyball team. Sutherland was promoted after serving as an assistant coach for six years with the Golden Eagles, including the last four as the program's top assistant. (posted 5/24/10) 

TX A&M-Commerce: Texas A&M University-Commerce announced the hiring of Craig Case as the new head volleyball coach. Case comes to A&M-Commerce with an extensive volleyball coaching career, including the last four seasons at Valley City State University. (posted 5/21/10) 

University of the South: Jessica Cortese has been named the head volleyball coach at The University of the South. Cortese was recently the head coach at Maclay School in Tallahassee, Florida. (posted 5/21/10)

John Hopkins: John Hopkins Director of Athletics Tom Calder announced the appointment of Matt Troy as head women's volleyball coach. Troy comes to John Hopkins after serving as the head coach at Howard Community College for one season. (posted 5/18/10)

North Idaho: The North Idaho College Athletics Department announced that former assistant and interim head coach at the University of Montana Colleen Frohlich was named as the new NIC head volleyball coach. (posted 5/11/10) 

Hutchinson CC: Ronda Shirley, who guided the Hutchinson Community College team to five Region VI championships, five national tournament placings and four Jayhawk West championships in the last six seasons, has resigned to accept the same position at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. (posted 5/10/10) 

McNeese State: Terry Gamble has been named McNeese State's new head volleyball coach. Gamble becomes the school's 10th head volleyball coach after spending most of his coaching career in the junior college ranks, most recently as the head coach at Midland Lutheran College. (posted 5/7/10) 

Carroll: Following a national search, Carroll University has named Becca Saal as its head volleyball coach. Saal joins Carroll following a one-year stint as head volleyball coach at Ripon College. (posted 5/7/10) 

Xavier: Xavier University (Ohio) Athletic Director Mike Bobinski announced today that he has accepted the resignation of Floyd Deaton, who just completed his 20th season as the school's head volleyball coach. (posted 5/4/10) 

Lindsey Wilson: Heather Collins has been named the volleyball coach at Lindsey Wilson College. Prior to taking over the Blue Raider program, Collins spent four seasons as assistant coach at College of the Sequoias (Calif.) and two years as head coach at Golden West High School in Visalia, Calif. Holy Family: Scott Hibbs has been selected to take over as the head coach of the Holy Family University women's volleyball team. Robert Morris: Dale Starr has been named the new head volleyball coach at Robert Morris University. Starr brings to Robert Morris a vast background in collegiate coaching, having served as the head coach at McNeese State University for six years. (posted 4/16/10)

Ball State: Steve Shondell, who has spent the past 34 seasons as the head girls varsity volleyball coach at the Burris Laboratory School in Muncie, has signed a three-year contract to become the sixth head coach in Ball State women's volleyball history. (posted 4/16/10)

Menlo: Menlo College has selected Daniel Rasay to take charge of the Oaks program as its new head coach. Rasay is currently a volunteer assistant caoch for Stanford's top-ranked men's volleyball team. (posted 4/8/10)

Michigan Tech: Carrie Gonzalez has been hired as a full-time assistant volleyball coach at Michigan Technological University to start the 2010 season. The former NCAA Division I player and coach spent last season as a volunteer assistant at Tech. (posted 8/16/10) 

Holy Cross: The College of the Holy Cross has named Erin Walker as an assistant volleyball coach. Walker spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant volleyball coach at New Hampshire. (posted 8/10/10) 

Limestone: Limestone College head men's and women's volleyball coach Tim Loesch has named Rick Banis as the next assistant coach for both programs. Banis joins Limestone from NAIA member MidAmerica Nazarene University where he has served as the women's volleyball head coach for the past two years. (posted 8/9/10) 

Ball State: Corey Carlin was hired by first-year women's volleyball coach Steve Shondell to serve as assistant coach for Ball State women's volleyball team. Carlin spent the last two seasons as the top assistant coach at Eastern Kentucky University. (posted 8/9/10) 

Montana State: Scott Keister has been named assistant coach at Montana State University. Keister currently serves as head coach of the Rage Volleyball Club Elite U18-2 team. (posted 8/9/10) 

Loyola-Maryland: Loyola University Maryland head volleyball coach Scott Pennewill announced the hire of Ashley Preston as assistant coach. Preston comes to Loyola with a strong background in both the sport and the area after two years an assistant coach at Morgan State University. (posted 8/6/10) 

Kent State: Kent State head volleyball coach Glen Conley announced the addition of Rob Cline to the program's coaching staff. Cline returns to his alma mater as an assistant coach after serving as the head coach at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School for three years. (posted 8/6/10) 

Coastal Carolina: Coastal Carolina University head volleyball coach Kristen Bauer has named Pavlina Steffkova an assistant coach for the Chanticleers. Jacksonville: Former Florida volleyball player Christina Diaz has been named assistant coach at Jacksonville University. Washington State: Jennifer Fry has joined the Washington State University women's volleyball program as an assistant coach. Fry spent the past three seasons as the volleyball head coach at Norfolk State. (posted 8/4/10) 

Evansville: University of Evansville volleyball coach Mike Swan has announced the hiring of Josh Wielebnicki as the program's assistant coach. Wielebnicki joins the Purple Ace's staff after working in the same position last year at Western Carolina University. (posted 8/2/10) 

So. Indiana-Edwardsville: Mallory Clements, former SIUE volleyball standout who spent last season as a graduate assistant coach with the Cougars, has been named assistant volleyball coach for the 2010 season. (posted 7/29/10) 

Montana: Allison Lawrence, most recently on the coaching staff at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, has been hired on an interim basis to fill the University of Montana's vacant assistant volleyball coaching position. (posted 7/29/10) 

Florida: Chris Keen, a former collegiate and beach volleyball player who has spent the last two years as a volunteer assistant, has been named assistant volleyball coach at the University of Florida, head coach Mary Wise announced. (posted 7/28/10) 

Alabama: After spending one season as a volunteer on the Alabama volleyball staff, Kevin Dunn has been hired as an assistant coach. (posted 7/27/10) 

William & Mary: William & Mary head volleyball coach Melissa Aldrich Shelton announced the hiring of Audra Harrison as assistant volleyball coach. Harrison joins the Tribe after spending the past two years as a graduate assistant at Midwestern State University. (posted 7/26/10) 

Adams State: Adams State College head volleyball coach Lindy Mortensen has announced the hiring of Andy Rice as the Grizzlies' assistant coach. Rice had been the head varsity girls coach at Pagosa Springs High School for the past five seasons. (posted 7/26/10) 

Kentucky Wesleyan: Eric Hagan has been named assistant volleyball coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Hagan comes to KWC with eight years coaching experience. He most recently spent two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater Owensboro Cathloic High School. (posted 7/26/10)

Idaho State: The Idaho State volleyball program will have the opportunity to learn from one of its top players in Bengal history with the hire of Ali Gorny by Head Coach Chad Teichert. Gorny will serve as Teichert's second assistant coach under David Hyte. (posted 7/26/10) 

Rocky Mountain: Mindi Bouchard, a 2001 Rocky Mountain College graduate, has been hired as the assistant volleyball coach at Rocky Mountain College. (posted 7/26/10) 

Angelo State: Angelo State University has hired Qi Wang as assistant coach. A native of China, Wang has been the head coach at Northern Michigan and most recently Florida Tech in addition to his four years as the leader of Truman State. (posted 7/23/10) 

La Salle: Volleyball coach Dave Stever announces the appointment of Rita Walsh as an assistant volleyball coach. A 2010 graduate of Manhattan College with a major in Seconday Education, Welsh brings four-years of collegiate volleyball experience to La Salle. (posted 7/21/10) 

Tulsa: The University of Tulsa head volleyball coach Ed Allen announced today the hiring of Ryan Wills as assistant volleyball coach. Wills spent the last two years in California, where he served as Beach Program Director at Mizuno Long Beach Volleyball Club. He also served as a volunteer coach for the UCLA women's volleyball team. Miami (OH): Head Miami volleyball coach Carolyn Condit announced the hiring of Jonah Carson as an assistant coach for the program. Carson comes from UC Santa Cruz, where he has served as the head coach of the men's team for the past six seasons. (posted 7/14/10) 

Austin Peay: Evin Giglio has been named Austin Peay State University's assistant volleyball coach. He joins the Lady Govs after completing his collegiate career at Springfield (Mass.) College, where he played and served as a student coach for the men's volleyball program. (posted 7/14/10) 

Southern Illinois: Southern Illinois head volleyball coach Brenda Winkeler announced Evan Hook as a new assistant coach. (posted 7/14/10) 

Villanova: The Villanova volleyball team has hired Julie Darty and Lindsay Shondell as assistant coaches. Darty joins the Wildcats from Oviedo, Fla. where she was an assistant coach at Lake Mary High School. Shondell was a setter at Purdue University and helped her team to three NCAA Tournament berths. She spent the last season as the assistant coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Charleston Southern: Charleston Southern head women's volleyball coach Danyel Bellush has announced the hiring of assistant coach Kreg Togami to her staff for the 2010 season. Prior to CSU, Togami was an assistant coach at The Citadel from 2001-2005. (posted 7/9/10)

So. Cal: Jeff Nygaard, a 3-time Olympian in indoor and beach volleyball and 2-time collegiate MVP while playing on a pair of NCAA championship teams at UCLA, has been named assistant men's volleyball coach at USC. (posted 7/9/10)

UNC Asheville: UNC Asheville head volleyball coach Julie Torbett has announced the hiring of Kellen Petrone as an assistant coach with the Bulldog program. Petrone comes to Asheville after working at Robert Morris University for one season. (posted 6/28/10) 

Indiana: Nancy Mueller has been named an assistatn coach for the Hoosier volleyball program. Most recently, Mueller served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Bradley University during the 2009 season. (posted 6/28/10)

Georgia State: Kelly Audia has been named the Georgia State volleyball assistant coach. Audia spent 13 years as the head volleyball coach at Sequoyah High School in Canton, Ga. (posted 6/16/10) 

Ball State: Kelli Miller, who has spent last season as a student/volunteer coach at Purdue, has been named an assistant coach for the Ball State women's volleyball program. (posted 6/8/10)

Virginia Tech: The Virginia Tech volleyball squad announced the hiring of Aaron and Jolene Shepardson as assistant coaches. Jolene comes to Tech from American University where she worked as an assistant coach adn recruiting coordinator. Appalachian State: Samantha Dabbs has been hired as an assistant caoch at Appalachian State University following a successful playing career at Louisville and LSU. (posted 5/19/10) 

Albany: Adam Martel and Caley Carter-Knudsen have been hired as assistant volleyball coaches, as announced today by University of Albany head coach MJ Engstrom. BT Knudsen will also join the UAlbany staff as a volunteer assistant coach. (posted 5/12/10) 

North Alabama: University of North Alabama head volleyball coach Stephanie Radecki has announced the hiring of Jennifer McCall as assistant volleyball coach. The former collegiate standout most recently served as head volleyball coach at North Carolina-Wilmington, where she spent five seasons at the helm of the program. (posted 5/11/10) 

Christopher Newport: Randi Raff has been hired as an assistant coach at Christopher Newport University after previosuly spending the past two seasons as an assistant at Southeast Missouri State University. (posted 5/4/10) 

Wartburg: Wartburg College have announced the hiring of former West Des Moines Valley High School head volleyball coach Doug Frazell to the position of assistant volleyball coach. (posted 4/26/10) 

Arkansas State: ASU head volleyball coach announced that Shawn Taylor will join the Red Wolves coaching staff as assistant coach for the 2010 season. Taylor comes to Arkansas State from Independence Community College in Independence, Kan. where he served as the head coach for the 2009 season. (posted 4/22/10) 

UC Davis: Previously on the staffs at Regis and Jacksonville, Darren Buckner was selected as assistant UC Davis women's volleyball coach. (posted 4/22/10) 

Winthrop: Winthrop head volleyball coach Sally Polhamus has announced that Mary Hock Leventis, one of the most outstanding players in Winthrop volleyball history, has joined the program as an assistant coach. Leventis served on the University of Georgia volleyball staff in 2007. (posted 4/22/10) 

Kent State: Kent State head coach Glen Conley is pleased to announce the addition of Laura Bellinger to the volleyball staff. Bellinger comes to the Golden Flashes after two seasons with The University of North Alabama. (posted 4/16/10)

Auburn: Jozsef Forman has been named an assistant volleyball coach at Auburn University. Forman joins the Auburn staff after serving a three-year stint as the head coach at the University of New Orleans. (posted 4/12/10)

San Diego State: San Diego State head volleyball coach has announced the hiring of former Boston College head coach Andrea Leonard as an assistant for the Aztec volleyball program. (posted 4/9/10) 

Boston College: Eric Perrine, who spent the past two seasons with the University of California-San Diego, has been named as an assistant coach to the Boston College volleyball team. (posted 4/8/10) 

UC Santa Barbara: Jeri Estes and Dan Ahiers have joined the women's volleyball staff at UC Santa Barbara. Estes will be the Associate Head Coach and Ahiers will serve as the team's Assistant Coach. Estes most recently served as the Associate Head Coach for a professional women's volleyball team in Russia. Dan Ahiers joins UCSB after having most recently worked with USA Volleyball and serving as a club director for the Carmel Beach Volleyball Club. (posted 4/7/10)
