2024 AVCA Collegiate Beach Awards Info Packet

Award Guidelines:

• Athletes must meet all eligibility requirements as listed in the rules adopted by their respective institution.
• Athletes may be in any year of eligibility in their sport.
• The athlete must be nominated by their head coach.
• Athlete must have a winning record in their matches.
• Athlete will be individually considered, but both from a pair may be nominated.
• Athletes from a 2’s flight or lower will only be selected if 1’s athletes from the institution are selected first.
• All deadlines and guidelines must be met for a nomination to be considered.
• Head coach must be a member in good standing of the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

All-Americans will be announced on May 1.

AVCA Top Flight

For the second year, nominations are required for Top Flight Award honors. Nomination form due:

• NCAA Division III: Monday, April 15
• NCAA Division II: Monday, April 15
• NAIA: Monday, April 22
• NJCAA/Two-Year College: Monday, April 22
• NCAA Division I: Monday, April 29

Top Flight winners (all divisions) will be announced May 2.

AVCA Collegiate Beach Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year

Monday, April 15 through Monday, April 29 – Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year Nominations Accepted

Head and lead assistant coaches from the 17 teams that were selected to participate in the championship will automatically be considered for the award. Additional programs may nominate their Head and/or lead assistant coaches. *Note: AVCA members no longer vote for Coach of the Year. Honoree will be selected by the All-America committee. Coaches of the Year will be announced May 2.
