Participating student-athletes and their parents attended educational sessions, the Under Armour All-America High School Volleyball Match, NCAA volleyball matches, interacted with AVCA Collegiate All-Americans, underwent Volleyball Performance Index testing, and participated in the NCSA/AVCA Talent Showcase during which athletes demonstrate their skills in front of the 200+ college coaches in attendance.
The AVCA Phenom College Prep Program is a weekend for student-athletes and their parents to learn, network and socialize. The event is designed to prepare and educate participants and their parents about playing volleyball at the collegiate level.
Don't forget, high school coaches MUST be a current AVCA member in order for their athlete to be eligible for the Phenom College Preparatory Program or the Under Armour All-America Program.

"I attended the AVCA Showcase in March of 2012 in Houston, TX. It was a great experience and I highly recommend to all players to try and participate in at least one Showcase during their recruitment process. It gives a player insight to what coaches look for and to who else you are competing with. The staff at AVCA was so helpful and supportive during the entire process leading up to and after the event, making sure the questions my mom and I had were fully answered in a timely manner. This was a successful experience for me because through AVCA, I was able to connect with several colleges and universities. In April, I gave my verbal commitment to play for a Division 1 school, the University of Central Arkansas, in the Fall of 2014 as their starting setter. I give a lot of credit to the AVCA Showcase and the staff for helping me achieve this accomplishment!" - Nicole Poling, Sophomore Setter, Pearland Hight School, AVA of Texas
