LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 14, 2022) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association is pleased to announce its 41st annual All-America Teams for NCAA Division I women’s volleyball.
The 2022 class includes 42 players—14 on the first, second, and third teams—from 22 schools, as well as 53 honorable mention selections. Texas has three First-Team All-Americans, and Pittsburgh and Stanford have two each.
This year’s National Player of the Year is Logan Eggleston of the University of Texas and the Freshman of the Year is Mimi Colyer of the University of Oregon.
The 2022 All-America selections were made by the AVCA Division I All-America Committee: Erin Lindsey, Santa Clara (chair); Keith Barnett, Air Force Academy; Brad Keller, USC; JT Wenger, UT Arlington; Ryan Wills; Betsy Freeburg, UAB; Eve Rackham, Tennessee; Caitlin Schweihofer, Rutgers; Shaun Kupferberg, Howard; Shannon Wells, Virginia; and Jason Williams, TCU.
