LEXINGTON, Ky. (December 9, 2022) – The AVCA is pleased to announce its women’s volleyball All-America Teams for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, as chosen by the NAIA Volleyball All-America Selection Committee.

The 2022 class includes 42 players—14 on the first, second, and third teams—from 31 schools, and 72 honorable mention selections. National champion Jamestown lead the way with three players on the first three teams, and eight schools had two players chosen.

Player of the Year: Kalli Hegerle, Jamestown ND, S/OPP, Sr.

Freshman of the Year: Eva Joldensma, Indiana Wesleyan, OH

Setter of the Year: Hope Leimbach, Midland NE, Sr.

Defender of the Year: Ellie Holen, Jamestown ND, L, Sr.

Attacker of the Year: Rylee Troutman, Corban OR, OH, So.

Coach of the Year: Jon Hegerle, Jamestown ND

Assistant Coach of the Year: Adam Brewster of MidAmerica Nazarene
