The American Volleyball Coaches Association is proud to announce this year’s AVCA All-America Teams for NAIA men’s volleyball. Each of the two All-America Teams includes 12 student-athletes, and 16 additional players received honorable mention honors.
Four schools— Benedictine Mesa, Park, Vanguard, and William Penn—have three All-Americans with Benedictine Mesa being the only team with three first-teamers. Kyle Anema of Vanguard becomes only the sixth player to be a four-time AVCA NAIA All-American. This year’s honorees also include two players, Chris Beck of Arizona Christian and Nolan Flexen of The Master’s College, who become the first All-Americans from their schools.
The selections were made by the AVCA NAIA Men’s Volleyball All-America Committee: chairperson Luke Bentley (William Penn), Chad Hanson (Dordt), Andrew Palmer (Georgetown), Greg Reitz (Lourdes), Tom Ryan (St. Xavier), Kyle Steele (Ottawa [AZ]), and Mike Talamantes (Park).
