The AVCA is pleased to announce its 12th annual Collegiate Beach All-America Teams. This year, the first and second teams include 16 members each, and the 32 players honored represent 13 schools.
Heading the list of 2024 honorees are three players who become four-time All-Americans: Lexy Denaburg of UCLA, Xolani Hodel of Stanford, and Megan Kraft of USC. Denaburg is the fifth athlete to be a four-time, first-team selection. This is the third All-America honor for Florida State’s Maddie Anderson.
Cal Poly, UCLA, and Stanford lead the way in total All-Americans with four apiece. Two players from Arizona State made the second-team this year, which marks the first time in program history the Sun Devils have had All-Americans.
The awards selections were made by the AVCA Collegiate Beach All-America Committee: Beth Van Fleet of Georgia State (chair), Andrew Fuller of Stanford, Hector Gutierrez of TCU, Kristina Hernandez of Stetson, Darin Van Horn of UT Chattanooga, and Allison Voigt of Boise State.
