2024 Record (as of April 15): 30-1
After leading Wentworth to new heights in 2022—a program-best 30 wins and .857 winning percentage—Giglio has guided the Leopards even higher in 2024. The team enters this year’s NCAA Tournament with a 30-1 record after spending 10 weeks during the regular season as the No. 1 team in the AVCA/NVA Poll.
REGION II COACH OF THE YEAR
Richard Gary, Vassar College
2024 Record (as of April 15): 23-7
Gary has the Brewers riding another wave of success this season, which is his eighth at Vassar. His team has been ranked in the top 10 all year, and they are back in the NCAA Championship. Last month, the 2023 AVCA Division III National Coach of the Year picked up his 150th career win at the school.
REGION III COACH OF THE YEAR
Tom Peterson, Southern Virginia University
2024 Record (as of April 15): 28-0
It has been a magical season in 2024 for Southern Virginia and its veteran coach. The only coach in program history, Peterson has led Knights to a perfect 28-0 record heading into the 2024 NCAA Championship, and they are the only remaining unbeaten team in Division III volleyball.
REGION IV COACH OF THE YEAR
Dylan Ross, Loras College
2024 Record (as of April 15): 24-1
It has been a record-breaking season for Ross and the Duhawks. Loras opened the 2024 campaign by winning a program-best 20 matches in a row and, in the process, rose to an all-time high No. 4 in the AVCA/NVA Poll.
